Risanger & Sønn integrates Malermester Langelandsvik and thereby strengthens its position on Haugalandet.
- This is a strategic decision that gives us access to skilled craftsmen with solid professional expertise. We are facing a generational change among some of our project managers, and by including Malermester Langelandsvik, we ensure both continuity and future growth opportunities. Their good reputation and large customer base will complement our geographical coverage and customer segment. We look forward to the collaboration, says Sjur Risanger, General Manager of Risanger & Sønn.
Malermester Langelandsvik was established in 1989 and has been a family business throughout the years. The company offers a wide range of painting and flooring services for both refurbishments and new builds, serving customers in business, the public sector and the private market.
General Manager Eivind Tore Langelandsvik is looking forward to being part of a larger professional environment.
- With only two employees in the office and ever-increasing administrative demands, the workload has become heavy. Becoming part of Risanger & Sønn gives us the opportunity to focus on what we do best - delivering high quality painting and flooring services. At the same time, with the support of a larger administrative apparatus, we can handle increasingly complex requirements and systems, giving us room to grow and develop.
- As part of Håndverksgruppen, we also have access to many development opportunities for our craftsmen, apprentices and managers, including through the HG Academy, he says.
Malermester Langelandsvik has 14 employees and had a turnover of NOK 18 million in 2023.
- It has been important to me that all our skilled employees keep their jobs and stay with us. By becoming part of Risanger & Sønn, and with the support of Håndverksgruppen, we can continue our good culture and focus on further development. Risanger & Sønn is one of the most serious and forward-looking companies in the region, and we are very much looking forward to becoming part of them, concludes Langelandsvik.
After the merger, Risanger & Sønn will have 55 employees, including five apprentices. Eivind Tore Langelandsvik will take up a new position as operations manager at Risanger & Sønn, while Astrid Nesse, project manager at Malermester Langlandsvik, will continue as project manager.
Risanger & Sønn has been part of Håndverksgruppen since 2020.
