Håndverksgruppen solidifies its strategic expansion in Germany by welcoming Ritter und Frank Oberflächen GmbH & Co. KG, a respected family-run company with over 150 years of expertise.

- We are in an exciting phase with many activities in Germany. With the addition of Ritter & Frank Oberflächen GmbH & Co. KG, we are enhancing our presence in Baden-Württemberg and building on the solid cultural platform we have already set with companies like Hans Übelacker in Munich, Beck GmbH in the Stuttgart region, and Baur GmbH in Donaueschingen, says Øyvind Emblem, CEO of Håndverksgruppen.

- With well-managed, solid craft businesses like Ritter und Frank Oberflächen GmbH & Co. KG, we are positioned to further expand our operations in Northern Europe. Their valuable expertise and craftsmanship greatly benefit us moving forward. It is a great pleasure to welcome them into our group.

Since entering the German market in 2023, Håndverksgruppen has quickly established itself, now generating a turnover of approximately 10 million euros in Germany.

A family business with long traditions
Founded in 1868 by the great-great-grandfather of the current Managing Director, Martin Frank, Ritter und Frank has been a pillar of quality and tradition in the surface treatment industry for more than 150 years. Under the leadership of Martin Frank since 1992, the company employs 15 dedicated professionals, including master plasterers, master painters, and trainees. They specialize in premium surface treatments, including lime and clay plaster as well as seamless acoustic ceilings, delivering exceptional quality to the luxury residential construction market.

Embracing common opportunities
As part of Håndverksgruppen, Martin Frank is particularly looking forward to developing new partnerships with other craft businesses and exploiting common opportunities. Martin also has his employees clearly in his sights.

- It is important to me that my employees can develop professionally and further strengthen team spirit. I see this opportunity very clearly by joining Håndverksgruppen: Not only is team spirit very much in evidence within the group, but networking with other craft businesses also gives my employees the opportunity to broaden their horizons and develop professionally.

Martin also has clear ideas about the future development of Ritter and Frank Oberflächen GmbH & Co. KG.

- In addition to continuing operations, our focus is clearly on our core competencies and on continuing to offer our customers top-quality craftsmanship.

On good and cooperative partnership
Martin Frank will remain a shareholder in Håndverksgruppen and the company will continue to operate under the same brand name.

Håndverksgruppen welcomes Martin Frank and all employees of Ritter and Frank Oberflächen GmbH & Co. KG and looks forward to a good and cooperative partnership.
