Håndverksgruppen gains further market share in Denmark through the inclusion of the painting company Staubo in Copenhagen. With 15 painting companies in the Danish portfolio, Håndverksgruppen has now secured a significant presence in three of the country's largest cities: Copenhagen, Aalborg and Aarhus.
- We are proud to attract several of Denmark's leading craftsmen, such as the painting company Staubo. Their skill and expertise, especially in the renovation of older properties, reinforces our already extensive service offering and supports our growth ambition in Denmark, says Frederik Stage Olsen, Country Manager for Håndverksgruppen in Denmark.
- We have a good momentum with many new good companies, and we look forward to building on our solid group culture and through this securing both jobs and a stronger position in the future, says Frederik.
Quality painter with broad expertise
Malerfirmaet Staubo was established in 2013 and is currently run by the three owners Christian Staubo Hansen, Marianne Hansen and Frederik Romme Larsen, who are all trained painters. Christian and Marianne decided to merge their two companies in 2018. In 2021, Frederik joined the company as a master painter and co-owner.
Staubo's decision to join the Håndverksgruppen is driven by a desire to be part of a larger community, where access to a network of forward-thinking and solid companies will strengthen the company's brand and operations.
- We see great benefits in being able to exchange experiences with other skilled companies, not only in periods of growth, but also in more challenging times. It's particularly exciting to see how our colleagues in Norway and Sweden work. This inspires us to think in new and different ways here at home, says Marianne Hansen, master painter and co-owner of Staubo.
The painting company Staubo is based in Copenhagen and had a turnover of DKK 29 million last year. The company carries out all types of painting work for housing associations, contractors, corporate customers, insurance companies and major remodelling projects for private customers. The company has carried out a number of major projects for the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School and the Østre Landsrett (High Court of Eastern Denmark), among others.
Young company with great prospects
Marianne is optimistic about the future and is convinced that the partnership with Håndverksgruppen will strengthen Staubo in several areas.
- With the support and in-depth knowledge that Håndverksgruppen brings to the table, we hope to strengthen our position in the insurance industry and meet increasingly tough environmental requirements in an even better way.
- Our commitment to diversity, and in particular the initiative to recruit more women and apprentices to our field, also resonates well with the Håndverksgruppen's values. As a young and dynamic company with 30 employees, we are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead, she says.
The purchase price is confidential, but all owners reinvest a part of the enterprise value as shareholders in Håndverksgruppen.
