Håndverksgruppen is positioning itself for further growth in Denmark and incorporates Malermester Svend Aage Sørensen.

Denmark is an important part of Håndverksgruppen's strategy to become the leading player in surface services in Northern Europe. Håndverksgruppen entered Denmark in 2022 and already has a strong presence with several solid paint businesses in Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen. The Group is currently the market leader in surfaces in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, and is in the process of establishing itself in Germany. In total, the group has a turnover of more than NOK 6.7 billion.
Tradition-rich painting company
Malermester Svend Aage Sørensen is a family-run and traditional painting company headquartered in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen. The company was established by master painter Svend Aage Sørensen in 1967, and in 2007 his son Torben Sørensen took over ownership of the company. In 2020, Bo Løngaa also became a co-owner and partner in the business.
- From going to work with my father as a child, to now leading the company into a partnership with Håndverksgruppen is a really exciting opportunity for us. Malermester Svend Aage Sørensen operates mainly in North Zealand and the Copenhagen area, providing painting services for private individuals, companies, housing associations and contractors. They are particularly known for their quality work in renovation and refurbishment of new homes for housing associations, an expertise that will further strengthen the Håndverksgruppen's offering. The company has 25 employees and had a turnover of around DKK 30 million in 2023.
