Håndverksgruppen takes further market shares in Norway and includes Borg Fagmaling in Østfold.
- We are delighted to welcome Borg Fagmaling to Håndverksgruppen. With their long experience in new builds and major projects, they bring valuable expertise that will strengthen us both in Østfold and nationally. We are impressed by their professionalism and look forward to continuing to grow together, says Gjermund Söder Vegge, Country Manager of Håndverksgruppen Norway.
Borg Fagmaling was established in 1978 and has enjoyed solid growth in recent years under the leadership of Henri Nevalainen and Morten Kraft, who took over operations in 2021. With a turnover of around NOK 26 million in 2023, the company is well positioned for further growth through Håndverksgruppen.
Managing Director Henri Nevalainen is looking forward to the opportunities offered by the new partnership:
- We're looking forward to becoming part of a large and professional group. Through Håndverksgruppen, we get the opportunity to collaborate and share best practices with the best in the industry, while getting the support and capacity to take on larger and more complex projects, he says.
Borg Fagmaling offers a full range of painting, wallpapering, flooring and specialised services such as epoxy coating and floor levelling. The company has a strong local presence and serves customers from Vestby to Halden, with a main focus on larger projects such as apartment blocks, schools, kindergartens, care homes and office buildings.
- For those of us who work closely with municipalities and public builders, where the requirements for documentation, apprenticeship development and sustainable solutions are constantly increasing, the support from Håndverksgruppen will be crucial, says Nevalainen.
Since Henri Nevalainen and operations manager Morten Kraft took over operations in 2021, Borg Fagmaling has seen a positive development in both sales and profitability. The company currently has 18 employees, many of whom have been with the company for many years.
- We are very proud of our team and the strong teamwork we have built up over the years. Our success is the result of targeted efforts and loyalty from our skilled employees, and now we look forward to continuing this development with Håndverksgruppen. Together, we will continue to work to lift the craftsmanship and contribute to local value creation, Nevalainen concludes.
Henri Nevalainen and Morten Kraft will continue as shareholders in Håndverksgruppen, and the business will continue to grow under the same name.
